I wish I knew. I remember being so frustrated when Tyler was alive, because I knew what he needed, and I just didn’t have the money to buy it for him. One of our goals at Family First Braille is to give families and organizations the tools they need to help people with visual impairments integrate into their community. I firmly believe that no one knows your needs better than you do. So, I have established a grant program and here is how it works.
Please fill out the application and either email it or mail it to us. Please note that if you are awarded the grant, that we will feature you and your funding project in our Family First Braille Magazine.
Family Grants will be awarded twice per year, in amounts up to $500. You can apply for funding to attend a conference, purchase assistive technology, supplies, adaptive clothing, or anything else you want to apply for.
Organization Grants will also be awarded twice per year, in amounts up to $500. You do not have to be a non profit to apply. Churches, schools, community organizations or any other organizations are welcome to apply. If you have any questions, please email me at BrendaRamsey@familyfirstbraille.com.
